He figured while he waited why not look around and see if there was anything of interest to find.

This place had wild Pokémon roaming about so maybe he’d get lucky.

But lady luck was particularly on his side as the first Pokémon he encountered wasn’t one he paid much mind to. Maybe the next one.

Now this one was much more tempting but alas Samuel did not fall into the temptation and decided that perhaps next time he would capture such a beast but for now he’d leave the Houndoom alone.

It definitely had nothing to do with the fact that the Pokémon looked feral and any wrong move would end with him getting his head bitten off.

His severe case of boredom was cured when a Mienfoo came across his path and suddenly attacked.

Samuel only managed to avoid the Pokémon’s initial attack barely, throwing out a capsule in the process to release his own Pokémon to fight back.

It was his Kadabra that he summoned, and almost as fast as the Pokémon came out its master was commanding for it to retaliate against the Mienfoo.

The little fighting type was fast but it wouldn’t be fast enough to avoid the Kadabra’s Psychic attack. Samuel would admit the little thing was tough trying to get back from an attack like that but it was clearly over and Sam went to capture the Pokémon.
